SRI Exec 2014-16 I’m from Clarenville, Newfoundland. I first joined SRI because I was interested in the world of research going on here at McGill. After spending some time with the members of SRI, I can confidently say that all of them are hard workers, which is representative of the researchers that McGill has to offer. I’m excited to be a part of all the great things SRI has done and is continuing to do!

SRI Exec 2014-16 SRI is a much needed platform where students can discover new research positions - an opportunity every student wants to integrate into their academic career. A random fact about myself is that I have lived in arctic cold -40°C weather and desert sun 50°C weather (I apologize, my life is truly not that happening).

SRI Exec 2014-16 My passion in life is to volunteer, whether that is joining humanitarian causes, environmental issues, or joining clubs such as Student Research Initiative. Being a part of SRI since its initiation at McGill, what I love about SRI is the concept of creating a research fund that enables students to gain experience in research, while receiving a stipend at the same time.

SRI Exec 2014-16 I decided to be a part of SRI because of our noble goal. I have been doing research for all of my undergraduate years and I know it has been my most prized academic experience. I want our students interested in research to be given an opportunity to do so and that is what our club aims to do.
